Multiconnect Communication Services Ltd were contracted by Adlek Ltd to carry out fibre optic works in the Port of Blyth, as part of the IHC works, prior to the rig being sent to Rotterdam.
Due to the volume of work required to connect the rig to the Mcdermott vessel in Rotterdam, Multiconnect were asked to follow it out to help with the many fibre optic connections required.
The work was carried out, in Rotterdam, during the Covid lockdown and the Multiconnect staff adhered to all safety requirements while travelling and working in Holland.
Working for 21 days, 12 hours per day during the trip, to splice and test the multiple fibres on board the vessel to meet the strict timescales to ensure milestone payments were met.

I really want to re-iterate what a big achievement the below was to complete a full 6 days ahead of schedule. Unlike some of the previous milestones, this milestone involved pretty much all key parties who are currently working on site.
This was a big team effort to ensure timely completion and overcoming issues along the way.
